Cuban Sandwich with Arla® Smoked Havarti Cheese

Ingredients (4-6 servings):

  • 1 loaf  Italian bread, sliced in half horizontally
  • 1/4 cup | 60 mL yellow mustard 
  • 1 pkg | 165 g Arla® Smoked Havarti Cheese Slices
  • 6 slices Virginia or Black Forest ham
  • 6 slices roast pork
  • 12 slices sliced bread and butter pickles

Preparation:

Spread yellow mustard on both halves of the bread. Starting with the bottom half of the loaf, layer with Havarti Cheese, ham, roast pork and pickle slices. Place top half of bread onto top. Carefully place the sandwich on a panini press/sandwich grill (or in a lightly greased skillet or on a griddle, weighting the sandwich with a heavy skillet). Cook until heated through and cheese is melted
